It All Started with a Lemonade Stand

A Sweet Start to a Creative Journey


At Disney, they say, "It all started with a mouse." At Studio 22 Productions, it all started with a lemonade stand.

A few years ago, our daughter and her friends started a small lemonade stand, earning $300 in just two days. Watching their entrepreneurial spirit in action inspired me to finally pursue a long-time passion—photography. The very next day, I bought my first camera, and what started as a hobby quickly turned into something bigger.


Since then, Studio 22 Productions has grown into a full-service photography, videography, and media company, capturing multifamily real estate, corporate events, headshots, portraits, and branding content for clients across Florida.

Nick Cepeda


Owner &  Photographer


A Marine Corps veteran, I developed my love for travel and adventure while serving in Japan for 2.5 years. My experience managing aviation supply logistics and my later career in marketing analytics at Disney helped shape my approach to business and storytelling. I have always been drawn to capturing moments and the stunning light around me.


My father, an aspiring photographer in the 1980s, gave up his dream after being told he couldn’t succeed unless he shot weddings. Now, photography has come full circle in my family. I've introduced him to modern photography, given him my old Nikon gear, and taken him to workshops—helping him rediscover his passion.

Kelsey is not just my wife but my business partner, helping to grow Studio 22 Productions behind the scenes. With a background in business development, she ensures everything runs smoothly—from client onboarding to project planning—so we can deliver the best experience possible.


Together, we built Studio 22 Productions, named for the year we started our business and got married. Our journey is rooted in family, creativity, and adventure, and we bring that passion to every project we take on.

Jay Garcia


Lead Videographer


With 20 years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps, Jay Garcia honed leadership, adaptability, and an eye for detail—skills that now shape his approach to videography. Retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer, he transitioned his passion for storytelling into professional photography and cinematography, specializing in weddings, multifamily real estate, and corporate events.


Jay and Nick first met in the Marines, where Jay was Nick’s Gunnery Sergeant. Years later, their shared love for visual storytelling brought them back together, and they’ve been collaborating ever since. With over eight years of experience, Jay’s cinematic style ensures every project is both visually striking and emotionally impactful.

What started as a one-man operation has grown into a team of over six photographers, two videographers, and a makeup artist, expanding beyond photography into videography, drone services, and Matterport 3D virtual tours.

Photography, for me, isn’t about sticking to just one niche—it’s about understanding light and using it to tell a story, no matter the subject. That’s why we offer everything from corporate headshots to large-scale event coverage, architectural photography, and cinematic real estate media.

Beyond business, we are adventurers at heart. Our love for travel has taken us across the globe. My passion for capturing new places, cultures, and experiences first started in the Marine Corps and has shaped how I approach photography and videography today.


We take this same sense of adventure and curiosity into our work—whether we're filming an event in Miami, shooting real estate in Tampa, or capturing headshots in Orlando.
